Thai Bodywork Training Level I

From the indigenous villagers of Thailand who's healers practiced a brand of massage that was handed down orally, to the format traditional Thai massage developed in 1351 in the ancient city of Ayuttaya, Thai Yoga Bodywork is a phenomenal form of bodywork that elicits great circulation through compression and assisted stretching techniques.

With a certification in integrated massage therapy, over 21 years of practice, and accumulated personal Thai massage sessions and a Thai Massage certification, your instructor, Dr. Tracey L. Ulshafer, will guide you through a thorough understanding of the origins and legacy of Thai Yoga Bodywork, as well as practicum session techniques.

At the end of this training the student should be able to perform a basic 60-minute Thai Yoga Bodywork session. But this work can easily be broken down and incorporated into assist and adjustments for yoga teachers to use during instructed yoga classes.

This training will work well for those who want to simply learn the technique and practice on friends and family, as well as seasoned massage therapists who want to incorporate it into their daily offerings. Yoga teachers can receive 15 CEU's towards assisting and adjusting techniques.
