About the event
Special Needs Yoga Training is a Unified program developed by Tracey L. Ulshafer of One Yoga & Wellness Center LLC for the Special Olympics New Jersey. This special yoga program is for Special Olympics athletes and their caregivers.
If you are a yoga teacher interested in Learning this program to teach to those in Special Needs, or a parent who would like to understand it for your child, this is a wonderful training course to take!
What we will go over in this course:
1. Class construct
2. Teacher qualities
3. Adaptive strategies
4. Yoga class with detailed instruction on 35 postures
5. Supporting data
We will also take this yoga class with Tracey, and hmaybe with some special needs clients, so that you can understand the pace and flow in its entirely.
Virtual class on Zoom.
