Jenna's quest for self fulfillment led her to take improvisational Tribal Style (ITS) Belly Dancing classes with Vikki Williams (Bucks County,
Pennsylvania) in 2004. In the beginning she was an extremely nervous young lady who didn't feel comfortable in her own skin. But since taking classes,
Belly Dancing has pushed her to become stronger and healthier, both physically as well as mentally. But even more, it has given her the inspiration to take
better care of her body. Through Belly Dance Jenna has found a new sense of self confidence.
In 2005, Jenna became a Teacher's Assistant for Vikki's Level I & II classes. In June 2006, Jenna's sister and she were invited to join Hipnosis,
a semi-professional ITS Belly Dancing troupe. For Jenna it was a dream come true. Since being in the troupe, Jenna has not only evolved as a dancer,
but also helped the troupe evolve. And so, her troupe has become a second family to her. "My love for this dance is constantly evolving, as I am
constantly evolving with this dance," says Jenna.
Jenna
continues to educate herself in dance by taking workshops with Belly Dance troupes such as Azhia, Domba, Gypsy Caravan, Heather Stants, Kaeshi Chai,
Kassar, Romka, Sandy Ball from FCBD, Sashi, Sharon Kihara, Tribal Feat, Tempest, Unmata & Zafira. She recently received a certification through Gypsy
Caravan's "Collective Soul Training."
