Chris has a long-time interest in health and fitness. He has done long distance running and participates in triathlons. He started taking yoga classes as a way to increase his flexibility and to support his athletic interests. Through his yoga practice, Chris came to appreciate yoga's focus on developing both the body and mind and learning to use them together. "It's this balance of mind and body that helps us achieve not only the yoga postures, but also helps us work our way through daily life."
In July 2010, Chris completed a 200 hour training program in the Vinyasa Flow style of yoga with Tracey Ulshafer at the One Yoga Studio in East Windsor. Chris' goals are to continue his training to deepen his knowledge of yoga and to teach fun and challenging yoga classes.
